Bread Chana Basket
For Bread Basket:
6 thick slices Bread (white/brown)
For Chana Chaat:
1 Medium Tomatoes, finely chopped
1 Medium Onion, finely chopped
1 Cup Chana, boiled
2 tsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Tbsp Chana Masala
1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
To taste Salt
2 tsp Oil
1.Remove the edges of the bread and cut the bread slices into circular shape.
- Slightly roll out the bread circles and straighten them.
3.Apply butter on both sides of the bread.
4.Take muffin pans and press the bread gently in it.
5.Preheat the microwave oven to 190° Celsius and bake the bread for 11-13 minutes till it turns golden brown.
- Move to wire rack for cooling immediately.
Prepare Chana Masala/Chana Chaat:
1.Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and chopped onions and sauté it for 2 minutes. Once it is done add ginger garlic paste and saute it till the raw smell goes off.
2.Put chopped tomatoes and fry it till it gets cooked nicely.
3.Now add the chilli powder, turmeric powder and chana masala powder and mix it well.
- Add the boiled chana and put 1/4 cup water and let it boil for 5-10 minutes.
5.As it becomes little dry turn off the flame. Garnish it with coriander and serve.
