Dry Fruit Modak

Ingredients

5 Apricots, chopped

10 Raisins, chopped

1 Tbsp Ghee

1 tsp Dessicated Coconut

1 tsp Khus Khus

1 tsp Chironji

1 tsp Sesame Seeds

9-10 Cashewnuts

5-6 Pistachios

12-13 Peanuts

1 tsp Walnuts

15-16 Almonds

8 Seedless Dates

1 tsp Cardamom Powder

6 Figs

Dry Fruit Modak

Procedure:

1.Soak dates and figs separately for 2 hours.

2.Take peanuts, almonds, pistachio, walnuts, cashewnuts and grind all the nuts together.

3.Saute the grounded nuts in a pan.

4.Now dry roast chironji, sesame seeds, dessicated coconut and khus khus in another pan.

5.Now grind soaked dates and figs to form a paste.

6.Take ghee in a pan and add dates-figs paste into it, saute it properly.

7.Add chopped apricots and raisins and mix them thoroughly.

8.Now add the ground dry fruits and mix it well so that it gets infused properly in the paste.

9.Add the coconut mixture and cardamom powder and mix all the ingredients well to form a thick mixture.

10.Take a modak mould and apply ghee on it. Now take the mixture and put it in the mould to give a perfect modak shape.
