Onion Rings


Maida Batter:

1 Cup Maida.

1/2 Cup Water

1 Tbsp Milk

1 tsp Olive Oil

1 tsp Oregano

1 tsp Black Pepper Powder

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1/2 tsp Baking Powder

1/2 tsp Salt

Egg Mix:

1/4 tsp Salt

1 Egg White

1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder

Prepare maida batter:

1.In a bowl add maida, baking powder, black pepper powder, salt, garlic powder, oregano, olive oil, milk and mix them all together.

2.Add half cup of water to form a smooth batter by stirring it thoroughly.

Prepare egg mix:

1.Take out egg white, add salt, black pepper powder and whisk it properly.

Prepare Onion Rings:

1.Cut the onions into round rings, then dip the ring first in maida batter, then in egg mix and finally in a bowl full of bread crumbs to make it crispy.

2.Deep fry the rings in hot oil till it becomes golden brown and transfer it to paper towel so that the excess oil can be removed.

3.Crispy onion rings are ready, serve it hot along with chutney.
