Punjabi Kadhi Pakodi

Ingredients:
Curry ingredients:
500 Gm Yogurt
200 Ml Oil
300 Gm flour
2 Gm Garam masala powder
1 glass Water
3 Gm Turmeric
To taste Salt
5 Gm Red chilli powder
20 Gm Ginger
100 Gm Onion
Tadka ingredients:
1 Gm Green chilli
Dry fenugreek leaves
2 Gm Onion seeds
2 Gm Cumin seeds
10 Gm Ghee
2 Gm Dry red chilli
Pakodi ingredients:
100 Gm Onion (medium sized), sliced
250 Gm flour
As required Water
10 Gm Coriander seeds
3 Gm Cumin seeds
20 Gm Fresh coriander
5 Gm Red chilli powder
To taste Salt
6 Green chilli, sliced
Procedure:
Curry:
1.In a bowl, mix yogurt, water and blend it together.
2.In the blender add the gram flour, fill it with water and blend.
3.Heat oil in a pan, add the onion and fry till it becomes soft. Then add garlic & ginger paste and cook it on high flame till it becomes golden.
4.Now add turmeric, salt, tomatoes, red chilli powder and let it cook on high flame till the oil gets separated.
5.Add gram flour and water mixture with yogurt and an extra jug of water, mix it properly and allow it to boil. Then cook it on low to medium flame for 20 to 25 minutes till it starts to get thick.
Tadka:
1.In a pan heat ghee, add cumin seeds, onion seeds, fenugreek leaves, green chilli, dry red chilli and fry it on high flame.
2.Pour this tadka over the kadhi and mix it.
Pakodi:
1.Take gram flour and all the spices like onions, green chilli and add the water slowly in it to make a medium batter.
2.Heat oil in a pan and add small amount of batter to make the pakora and fry it on a medium flame till it becomes golden in color.
3.To remove excess oil place the pokoras on kitchen paper roll.
4.Now add the pokoras in the curry. Then add the tadka, garam masala in it and allow it to simmer for around 3-5 minutes.
5.Kadhi pakora is ready, serve it hot.
