Punjabi Style Sabzi Pulao

Ingredients:

1 cup basmati rice, washed

½ tsp cumin seeds

1 cinnamon stick

3 4 cloves

2 bay leaves

2 tbsp Olive oil

½ cup carrot, peeled and chopped

½ cup cauliflower florets

½ yellow bell pepper, diced

½ red bell pepper, diced

coriander leaves

tsp asafoetida, Salt to taste

½ tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp coriander powder

1 tsp red chilli powder

Punjabi Style Sabzi Pulao

Procedure:

1.Wash basmati rice properly and boil it partially in water, then strain the rice with the help of a sieve.

2.In a pan heat olive oil, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cinnamon stick, cloves and all the chopped vegetables.

3.Mix it properly and toss it then add coriander powder, asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix it well.

4.Once done add the partially boiled rice and required salt and mix it properly.

5.Finally garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
