Aloo Paratha


50 ml oil

250 gm whole wheat flour

1 cup water

Pinch of salt

For the filling:

Oil for frying

500 gm potatoes boiled & peeled

10 ml lime juice

5 gm chilli powder

5 gm turmeric

5 gm green chillies chopped

75 gm onions chopped

20 gm ginger garlic paste

20 gm coriander leaves chopped


How to prepare aloo paratha:

1.Take the flour, add salt, oil and required water and make a soft dough.

2.Make balls from the dough of the required size.

3.Mash the boiled potatoes, add the remaining ingredients of the filling and mix it well.

4.Now take the balls made from the dough, flatten it on the palm and stuff the filling in it and roll it round again to make a ball.

5.Roll paratha of about 1/2″ thick from the ball with the help of rolling pin.

6.Add little oil to the pan to grease it and heat it on a medium flame.

7.Let the paratha cook from both sides till it turns golden and it is cooked properly.

8.Serve it hot by adding butter or ghee on the top and along with curd.Aloo Paratha
