Chicken Do Pyaza
1 Kg Chicken
1 Tbsp Cumin powder
1 Tbsp Coriander powder
1 Tbsp Turmeric powder
1 Cup Yogurt, small
2 1/2 tsp Garlic and ginger paste
1 1/2 Tbsp Desi ghee
1 Tbsp Red chilli powder
1 tsp Ginger paste
2 tsp Garlic paste
1 Tbsp Coriander leaves
3 Tbsp Cream
1 Tbsp Green chillies, chopped
1 Tbsp Kasoori methi
1 Tbsp Mint leaves
For Garam Masala:
1/4 tsp Black cardamom powder
1 Tbsp Cinnamon powder
1 Tbsp Clove powder
1 Tbsp Mace powder
1 Tbsp Green cardamom powder
How to make Chicken Do Pyaza:
1.For garam masala mix clove powder, green cardamom powder, mace powder, cinnamon powder and black cardamom powder.
2.Wash and cut chicken into even size properly, then marinate it with ginger paste, garlic paste, some red chilli powder.
3.Take 1 onion, chop it finely. Take the other onion, cut it into large pieces.
4.Blend the tomatoes to make puree .
5.In a pan heat desi ghee, add ginger and garlic paste and fry it till it becomes golden brown.
6.Then add chopped onions and let it cook till it becomes golden brown in color.
7.Now add tomato puree, salt and mix it well.
8.In a bowl take some yogurt, add red chilli powder, turmeric, mix it properly and add it to the puree and let it cook for some time.
9.Now add cumin powder, coriander powder, marinated chicken, water, garam masala, onion cut into large pieces. Mix it and cook it well.
10.Finally heat the cream add it into the mixture and garnish it with coriander leaves, green chillies, mint leaves, kasoori methi and serve the dish hot.
