Gosht Korme Ka Pulao


Basmati Rice


Salt to taste

1 tsp cinnamon powder

1 tsp cardamom powder

1 tsp clove powder roasted

2 3green chillies slit

Fresh mint and coriander finely chopped

1 cup Yogurt

1 tsp red chilli powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

2 tbsp brown onion paste

1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

500 gm mutton pieces

1 tsp cumin seeds

2 bay leaves

2 tbsp Olive oil

For Garnishing:

Green chillies

Onion rings

1wedge Lemon

Gosht Korme Ka Pulao


1.Wash rice properly, put it in boiling water and cook it partially.

2.Once the rice is cooked partially strain water through a sieve and keep it aside.

  1. Heat olive oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, bay leaves, mutton pieces and fry it for some time.

4.Now add brown onion paste, ginger-garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and mix the whole mixture properly.

5.Then add yogurt, salt mix it properly and add some water in it.

6.Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook on a low flame.

7.Once done add the partially boiled rice, chopped fresh mint and coriander.

8.Add roasted clove powder, cinnamon powder, slitted green chillies, cardamom powder and cover the lid and allow it to cook on a low flame.

9.Finally garnish it with green chillies and serve it.
